Stories
Residence directors, care teams, researchers and families in Quebec, Ontario and the US on what changed when Josephine went in. No cameras, no microphones, nothing to wear.

Private seniors' residences (RPA) · Mauricie, Quebec
Two seniors' residences in the Mauricie region put Josephine sensors in 300 units over twelve months. The project started with 18 units at Le Havre du Faubourg in March 2025, then grew in waves, one residence at a time, with staff trained before each go-live. Staff see alerts on a dashboard built for them, and families get a text when a loved one's routine changes.

Impact study · Dementia caregivers · Montréal, Quebec
A $1M evaluation of how Josephine supports family caregivers of people living with dementia. MedicAlert Canada and the CIUSSS du Nord-de-l'Île-de-Montréal are measuring what discreet alerts change day to day: for the person who wants to stay at home, and for the caregiver who can't be there day and night.

Seniors living alone · Canada and the US
For someone who lives alone, Josephine learns their routine over 30 days. After that, the family gets a text when something changes: a restless night, a kitchen that's no longer used, no movement when there should be. Daily, weekly and monthly wellbeing reports fill in the rest.
